2024 NFL Season, Week 10: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 10 Sunday:

  • Arizona Cardinals guard Isaiah Adams (back) did not return versus the Jets.
  • Atlanta Falcons cornerback Mike Hughes (neck) did not return against the Saints.
  • Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) did not return versus the Colts.
  • Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders was ruled out against the Giants after being carted off in the second quarter with a foot/ankle injury. Tight end Ian Thomas was also ruled out with a calf injury.
  • Chicago Bears offensive lineman Teven Jenkins (ankle) was ruled out against the Patriots.
  • Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who will be seeing a specialist on Monday, told reporters if the doctor says he needs surgery that he will have it in New York this week. Prescott says if surgery is needed that it's three to four months for recovery. If Prescott doesn't need surgery, he said it's six to eight weeks of recovery.
  • Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta suffered a shoulder sprain and could potentially miss a week, but it's not considered a long-term issue, head coach Dan Campbell said after Sunday's win against the Texans.
  • Houston Texans defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi (foot) was ruled out versus the Lions. Cornerback Kamari Lassiter was ruled out with a concussion.
  • Indianapolis Colts left tackle Bernhard Raimann (knee) did not return versus the Bills.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby (ankle) did not return against the Vikings. Defensive end Arik Armstead was evaluated for a concussion in Sunday's game.
  • Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Wanya Morris (knee) did not return versus the Broncos.
  • New England Patriots defensive back Marcellas Dial Jr. (head) was ruled out against the Bears. Linebacker Sione Takitaki (hamstring) did not return.
  • New Orleans Saints linebacker Pete Werner (hand) and safety Jordan Howden (shoulder) did not return versus the Falcons.
  • New York Jets cornerback Brandin Echols (concussion) was ruled out and left tackle Tyron Smith (neck) did not return against the Cardinals.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Donte Jackson (hamstring) did not return against the Commanders.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers left tackle Tristan Wirfs' initial diagnosis is an injury to his MCL and will have an MRI to determine the full extent, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Wirfs was ruled out against the 49ers with a knee injury. Outside linebacker Chris Braswell Jr. (oblique) and cornerback Zyon McCollum (hamstring) did not return.
