Carolina Panthers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (ribs/hamstring/ankle) is expected to play versus the Washington Commanders, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources.
The Panthers WR did not participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. However, Johnson did turn in a limited session on Friday. He was officially listed as questionable for Week 7.
On Friday's injury report, Carolina added ribs and hamstring injuries to Johnson's designation heading into Sunday's game in Washington.
In six games this season, Johnson leads the team with 29 receptions, 340 yards and three touchdowns.
The Panthers (1-5) and Commanders (4-2) kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET.
Other injuries we are keeping an eye on ahead of Sunday's Week 7 games:
- Atlanta Falcons safety Justin Simmons (hamstring) is expected to play against the Seahawks, Rapoport reported. Simmons, who has since been announced as active, was listed as questionable.
- Indianapolis Colts wide receivers Josh Downs (toe), Alec Pierce (shoulder) and Michael Pittman Jr. (back) are expected to play versus the Dolphins, Rapoport reported. The trio of Colts wideouts are all active.
- Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) is inactive for the London game versus the Patriots.
- New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) is expected to play versus the Jaguars, Rapoport reported. Head coach Jerod Mayo told Wyche that Stevenson will suit up for the London game.
- The New Orleans Saints are expected to work out veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling on Monday, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero and Rapoport reported.
- Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) is trending in the right direction to play versus the Panthers, Rapoport reported.
