Injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 15 Sunday:
- Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Chris Hubbard (knee) was injured in the first half of Sunday night's game versus the Giants and will not return. Defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson (neck) was also ruled out.
- Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire did not return after suffering a leg/hip injury late in the fourth quarter against the Saints. Andy Reid said afterward that CEH will be further evaluated after his X-rays came back negative. The rookie was unable to put any pressure on his left leg while being helped into the locker room by trainers. Linebacker Emmanuel Smith did not return after sustaining a hamstring injury earlier in the game.
- New Orleans Saints wide receiver (ankle) did not return against the Chiefs. Defensive end Cameron Jordan was ejected in the fourth quarter after appearing to throw a punch at Chiefs offensive lineman Andrew Wylie. Safety Marcus Williams suffered a low-ankle sprain, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, via an informed source. Rapoport added that Williams will have tests on Monday, but it doesn't appear to be too serious.
- New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore was ruled out against the Dolphins after going down with a non-contact injury in the first half. Rapoport reported the injury was to his leg but not his knee and it might not be as serious as it appeared. Gilmore is scheduled to undergo tests Monday. Linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley (arm), defensive end John Simon (hamstring) and offensive lineman David Andrews (calf) also exited early.
- Los Angeles Rams tight end Gerald Everett was evaluated for a concussion but was cleared and returned to action against the Jets.
- Philadelphia Eagles tight end Richard Rodgers has been ruled out against the Cardinals with a shin injury. Injury Update: Punter Cameron Johnston is being evaluated for a head injury and has been ruled out.
- Arizona Cardinals tight end Maxx Williams has been ruled out against the Eagles with an ankle injury.
- New York Jets defensive tackle was evaluated for a concussion in the second half. Wide receiver Jeff Smith (shoulder) also exited early.
- Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Collin Johnson suffered a hamstring injury against the Ravens. Running back James Robinson (ankle) also exited early.
- Houston Texans offensive lineman Tytus Howard was ruled out against the Colts with a concussion. The team announced he will remain in an Indianapolis hospital overnight as a precaution.
- Atlanta Falcons cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson was ruled out against the Buccaneers because of an illness. Guard James Carpenter (groin) and cornerback Isaiah Oliver (cramping) exited early.
- Chicago Bears tight end Demetrius Harris exited early against the Vikings with an ankle injury. Wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson injured his knee.
- Minnesota Vikings defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo suffered an ankle injury against the Bears.
- Seattle Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas was carted off with a right leg injury versus Washington.
- Detroit Lions offensive tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai was evaluated for a concussion and ruled out against the Titans. Cornerback Mike Ford exited dearly with a foot injury.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Carlton Davis was ruled out against the Falcons with a groin injury.
- Washington linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton was ruled out against the Seahawks with an elbow injury. Offensive tackle Morgan Moses exited early with a leg injury.
- San Francisco 49ers defensive back Jimmie Ward (concussion) and defensive end Dion Jordan (knee) were ruled out against the Cowboys. Running back Raheem Mostert suffered an ankle injury. Coach Kyle Shanahan said afterward quarterback Nick Mullens came out of the game in the fourth quarter because of an elbow injury.
- Dallas Cowboys safety Xavier Woods was ruled out against the 49ers with a chest injury. Wide receiver Michael Gallup (hip) and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch (ankle) also exited early.
- Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Tyre Phillips was evaluated for a concussion.
- Miami Dolphins guard Solomon Kindley suffered a knee injury against the Patriots.
