Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs, Broncos QB Bo Nix highlight Players of the Week

Who were the NFL's top stars in Week 18? Each Wednesday, the league unveils its weekly honor roll. See who the Players of the Week are below.

AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Bo Nix
Denver Broncos · QB

In the regular-season finale of his rookie year, Nix became the first quarterback since Peyton Manning to earn a playoff berth with the Broncos, as Denver clinched its bid with a dominant 38-0 win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Nix had more touchdown passes than he had incompletions, completing 26 of 29 attempts (89.7%) for 321 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions and a 152.4 rating. He added 47 rushing yards, though his victory lap high-fiving fans didn't count in his total.

NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Jahmyr Gibbs
Detroit Lions · RB

Gibbs blew open a defensive battle with a sterling four-touchdown performance that propelled the Lions to a 31-9 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night to clinch the No. 1 NFC seed for Detroit. Gibbs had 139 rushing yards and three ground scores to go with 31 receiving yards and one TD catch. It was a hat-and-T-shirt win for the Lions and a banner night for Gibbs.

AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Trey Hendrickson
Cincinnati Bengals · DE

Hendrickson secured the 2024 season sack title with 17.5 thanks to his 3.5-sack showing in the Bengals' 19-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday. Hendrickson also posted five tackles and three tackles for loss in a stellar finish to an outstanding season.

NFC Defensive Player of the Week

YaYa Diaby
Tampa Bay Buccaneers · OLB

Looking to wrap up the NFC South and the postseason spot that went with it, the Buccaneers rallied past the rival New Orleans Saints, 29-17, on Sunday. Diaby played a crucial role in the win as he entrenched himself in the Saints backfield, producing five tackles, four tackles for loss and a sack.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Cameron Dicker
Los Angeles Chargers · K

As the Chargers blasted past the Las Vegas Raiders, 34-20, on Sunday to secure the AFC's No. 5 seed, Dicker provided 14 of the Bolts' points. He made a pair of extra points and four of five field goal attempts.

NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Josh Blackwell
Chicago Bears · CB

For the first time since 2018, the Bears beat the Green Bay Packers and Blackwell played a massive role in the victory. Blackwell turned in a 94-yard punt return for a touchdown -- on a play in which the Bears' DJ Moore faked returning the ball on the opposite side of the field -- in the first quarter to propel Chicago to a 24-22 season-ending win.
